Product description
Fuyu is defined by an hourglass-like profile in clear glass. The body narrows and opens again in a continuous movement, giving the holder a sense of enclosure without visual opacity. Light passes through the form while tracing the curved edges that give it definition.
The name refers to winter, a reference expressed here through stillness rather than ornament. The transparent material allows the object to remain present without becoming dense, its outline shifting according to the surface and light behind it.
When used with incense, a slower movement enters the composition. The smoke rises beyond the contained glass form, introducing an irregular line against its continuous curves. The holder becomes a point of attention through this relationship between a stable vessel and something that cannot remain fixed.
