Material, craft, and everyday ritual.
Aleyè introduces Studionudo, an Italian design practice working at the intersection of material, craft, and everyday ritual. Their work begins with raw matter, stone, clay, and earth, and moves slowly toward objects shaped for daily use, where function is never separated from presence. Rooted in close collaboration with Italian artisans, Studionudo’s process values the knowledge of hands as much as that of design. Each piece is formed through a dialogue between material and maker, allowing natural variations in texture, colour, and form to remain visible rather than corrected.
Drawing inspiration from open landscapes and the quiet rhythms of outdoor life, their objects carry a sense of calm and permanence. Shapes are reduced, colours are drawn from nature, and the final form is allowed to breathe.
Produced in small series and finished with care, Studionudo’s work resists excess and trend, favouring instead objects that age well, settle naturally into space, and build lasting relationships with those who live alongside them.
