The Porte Couteau elevates cutlery with a single, continuous gesture. Bent from brass into a restrained architectural form, it lifts knife and fork just above the table surface, creating a clear spatial separation between object and plane. The result is an ordered pause during the meal—functional, precise, and visually calm.
Its surface is intentionally untreated, allowing the brass to develop a natural patina over time. Subtle shifts in tone and finish are expected and embraced, giving each piece a slightly different character. Produced in a strictly limited quantity of six pairs, The Porte Couteau exists between utility and objecthood: small in scale, exact in intention, and defined by scarcity rather than ornament.
