Basalt is a mineral exfoliating ritual shaped by Icelandic volcanic terrain. Fine volcanic sand is suspended in a dense, creamy base to create a controlled physical polish—abrasive enough to refine the surface, yet composed to remain comfortable on both face and body.

The formula moves between opposing textures: the elemental grain of volcanic sand against a smooth emulsion enriched with Castor Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Glycerin, and a selection of northern berries. Blueberry, Strawberry, Cloudberry, and Raspberry extracts bring a botanical counterpoint to the mineral composition, while Kaolin helps absorb surface impurities and leave the skin feeling clean, balanced, and clarified.

Worked over dry or damp skin, Basalt can be adjusted from a more pronounced mineral polish to a softer, everyday exfoliation. Rinsed away, it leaves behind a noticeably smoother surface and a fresh, supple skin feel rather than the stripped sensation associated with more aggressive scrubs.

Its fragrance follows the same terrain: cold cucumber and bright citrus cut through a green, almost atmospheric accord of freshly cut grass. Crisp, mineral, and quietly vegetal, Basalt turns exfoliation into a moment of contact with something elemental.
