Aleyè Nomade No. 36 – Serving Geometry

Aleyè Nomade No. 36 is an ode to modularity—an architectural serving set conceived not simply to contain, but to compose. Formed of three stainless steel elements that nest with quiet precision, it includes a square base with two shallow trays flanking a domed, lidded vessel at its center. The symmetry is deliberate but never cold; there’s warmth in the reflective interplay, in the way each piece subtly mirrors the others while standing on its own.

Made in France in the late 1990s, this one-of-a-kind composition draws from the visual language of late-century industrial design—its smooth surfaces and curved transitions speaking of a time when utility began to merge more visibly with aesthetic intent. The main vessel’s lid, round and flush, lifts with a single central handle, creating a moment of tension before release. Its function is versatile: for service, for ritual, for still life.
